Smotrich Accuses Winter of Refusing Talks and Attacking Netanyahu’s Campaign

In his Wednesday response, finance minister and Religious Zionism leader Bezalel Smotrich said Amcha Israel chairman Ofer Winter had refused to meet or speak with him for six months. Smotrich was responding to Winter’s criticism of his meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Rabbi Eli Sadan. He accused Winter of campaigning against both him and Netanyahu while advocating more constructive politics. Smotrich said they belonged to the same political camp and called for a direct conversation about their differences.
