Netanyahu Urges Right-Wing Voters to Avoid Ofer Winter and Back Likud

Benjamin Netanyahu urged voters on the right to cast their ballots for Likud rather than Ofer Winter in a Hebrew-language campaign message posted on October 26. He warned against wasting any of the right’s votes and promoted Likud using the party’s Hebrew ballot letters, מחל. Netanyahu described the contest as a tie between the right and what he called “Palestine.” That characterization was Netanyahu’s own campaign assessment; the message did not include polling figures or a seat projection to substantiate the claimed tie.
