Newly Disclosed Warning Describes Hamas Drills Before October 7

An intelligence warning discussed by the Gaza Division on September 26, 2023 described 11 Hamas Nukhba drills and eight regional drills, according to a newly published investigation. Only four drills had been fully analyzed, while roughly 90% of the material had received initial listening only, apparently because of staffing shortages. The intelligence warrant officer who tracked Hamas's invasion plan was not invited to the discussion; she and her commander warned that it was operational and rehearsed, while other personnel saw routine exercises. The IDF said it had conducted extensive investigations and was studying and implementing their lessons.
