Kumu announced that former Hamas hostage Eli Sharabi and actress Shani Cohen will host the October 7 families’ national memorial ceremony at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park. The event will mark the third anniversary of Hamas’s October 7 massacre and is being organized for the third consecutive year by families affected by the attack. Sharabi said he was fulfilling a promise to his murdered wife Lianne, daughters Noya and Yahel, and brother Yossi that they and what happened would never be forgotten. He said the occasion would be difficult but that he would stand there with the strength and love he receives.
