Israeli Equity Hedge Funds Trail TA-125 in Preliminary Nine-Month Results

Preliminary figures disclosed on October 5 put the average return of prominent Israeli equity hedge funds at 9% after management fees for January–September 2026, compared with about 11% for the TA-125 index. The funds had led the index in the first half, returning 11% against 9%. Sphera Long returned 41% over the nine-month period, while nine bond-focused hedge funds averaged 2%, compared with 3% for the Tel Bond 60 index. The figures are preliminary indications gathered from several sources and cross-checked, rather than audited industry-wide results.
