Argentina Selects Two Consortia for AySA Privatization’s Economic Bid Stage

Argentina's Economy Ministry formally selected two consortia for the economic-bid stage of AySA's privatization in a resolution published on October 6. Resolution 1722/2026 approves the tender's first stage for selling the state's 90% stake in the water and sanitation company to one strategic operator. One consortium includes Rowing and Transclor; the other includes Roggio Roas and Hidrosan Capital. Economic bids will be opened through CONTRAT.AR on October 8 at 10:00 local time. The resolution advances the tender without announcing a winning buyer or a completed sale.
