The Tax Authority reported that it has paid about NIS 38 billion in compensation over three years of war, after receiving roughly 1.2 million claims. Its newly disclosed summary includes around 168,000 direct-damage claims, with payments of NIS 8.3 billion. Around one million claims for business losses accounted for approximately NIS 30 billion in payments. About 40,000 indirect-damage claims remain pending, mostly relating to Operation Roaring Lion. The figures exclude a separate compensation program for reservists.
