The Israel Football Association fears boycott calls could spread beyond Ireland into the next European Championship qualifying campaign. Several unnamed national associations are promoting such demands, while UEFA currently does not support the campaign, according to the report. The report also says Ireland's request to avoid Israel in future draws was not accepted. UEFA has scheduled the Euro 2028 qualifying draw for December 6, 2026, at ICC Belfast in Northern Ireland. Qualifying is due to begin in March 2027.
