Aviv Itach Reportedly Expected to Become Gila Gamliel’s Chief of Staff

Aviv Itach, who chairs the Likud branch in Rehovot, is reportedly expected to become Minister Gila Gamliel’s chief of staff soon. He recently resigned from his position as an adviser in the Gaza voluntary-departure directorate established by Defense Minister Israel Katz. Katz had appointed him to that advisory position in August. Itach previously served as deputy and acting mayor of Rehovot and spent 2 years as an editor at Channel 14. He declined a request for comment on the reported appointment.
