Police are reportedly checking suspected conflicts of interest involving Avri Cohen, head of the Transport Ministry’s security division, and Dvir Rubinstein, manager of its aviation-security operations center, following reports about their additional jobs. The newly disclosed police scrutiny follows earlier reports about the officials’ outside employment. Rubinstein works for the ministry as an outsourced provider rather than a civil servant. The ministry reportedly said his additional occupations had been authorized and were performed outside the hours of his engagement with it.
