Eight-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Apparent Accident Near Nevatim

An eight-year-old child was seriously injured on Saturday in what was described as an apparent traffic accident near Nevatim interchange in southern Israel. The child was brought to a meeting point near the interchange in the Arad area. Magen David Adom crews provided initial medical treatment after finding multiple injuries and a clouded level of consciousness. The crews transported the child in an intensive-care ambulance to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, with the condition described as serious.
