Man Seriously Injured Near Acre Port in Apparent Boat-Motor Accident

A man about 30 years old was seriously injured in an apparent boat-motor accident near Acre port, according to Magen David Adom's October 10 report. Ambulance crews met him near the port after people at the scene brought him ashore. He was conscious and had severe injuries to his lower limbs; crews treated him and transported him to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. MDA medic Mira Bukai said the injuries apparently resulted from a boat motor and described the man's condition as serious.
