Nature and Parks Authority Warns of Sunday Flood Risk in Judean Desert and Dead Sea

The Nature and Parks Authority warned on Saturday, October 10, of a risk of floods in streams in the Judean Desert and Dead Sea region on Sunday, October 11, citing the Israel Meteorological Service forecast. The authority said entering flowing stream channels, on foot or by vehicle, is strictly prohibited until water levels have completely receded and poses a life-threatening danger. It also prohibited approaching stream banks during flooding because they may collapse. For trail and site information, the authority directed visitors to its information center at *3639 and its official weather updates.
