Family Alleges Poor Conditions and Denial of Prayer for Vizhnitz Soldier at Anatot

The family of a Haredi soldier from the Vizhnitz Hasidic community in Bnei Brak alleges that he is being held in poor conditions at Anatot camp and prevented from praying. The soldier was sent there to serve a sentence imposed by his unit for traveling abroad without permission. His family claims he is restrained in a cell, denied food and drink, surrounded by insects and sleeping on the floor. The allegations have not been independently confirmed; an IDF Spokesperson response was requested, but none had been received at the time of publication.
