Ramla Schools Hold Citywide Discussions on Violence and Bullying

Ramla schools began Monday with special discussions on violence, bullying, personal responsibility and mutual respect, according to the municipality. The sessions, held with the Education Ministry and city schools, addressed violence’s consequences and the role of bystanders when someone else is in danger. The educational response followed violence in the Neot Shamir neighborhood on Sunday, whose recording circulated online. Mayor Michael Videl spoke with the affected young person’s parents and said the municipality would provide assistance according to their needs. The city also reported dozens of offers from residents to help the family.
