Forecast Calls for Possible Thunderstorms in Northern and Central Israel Friday

The Israel Meteorological Service's bulletin issued early Tuesday forecasts local rain beginning toward midday Friday, October 16, with possible isolated thunderstorms in northern and central Israel. Thursday could bring mostly light local rain in the north and along the coastal plain, while temperatures are expected to drop slightly below seasonal norms. Tuesday is forecast to remain partly cloudy to cloudy without a significant temperature change. A slight rise is expected Wednesday, mainly in the mountains and inland, with temperatures still normal for the season, before another small decline Friday.
