Yair Vilenski Identified as Teenager Killed in Northern Israel Explosion

Yair Vilenski was identified on Tuesday morning as the teenager killed in Monday’s unexploded-ordnance explosion at Ramim Ridge in northern Israel. A ninth-grade student at the ORT Ma’alot religious high school, he was the youngest of five siblings, his family said. Rambam Health Care Campus said the 61-year-old teacher injured in the explosion underwent surgery overnight and remained in serious but stable condition in intensive care. The hospital said two boys had minor shrapnel injuries, while another boy with shrapnel in his neck was moderately injured, conscious and stable in pediatric intensive care.
