Máximo Kirchner Proposes RIGI Audits if Peronists Win Argentina's 2027 Election

Argentine deputy Máximo Kirchner said a Peronist victory in the 2027 presidential election would lead to audits of each approved project under the country's large-investment incentive regime, known as RIGI. Speaking in a Wednesday radio interview, the La Cámpora leader said projects found to be in order would continue because they hold acquired rights. He questioned whether recipients of the incentives might later sell their projects and said each case should be examined. Kirchner argued that investment incentives could be legitimate while criticizing the regime's benefits for large foreign investors.
