Landau and Segura to Visit Paraguay and Argentina for Trade and Investment Talks

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau will travel to Asunción and Buenos Aires from October 19 to 26, accompanied by Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs Juan Pablo Segura. In Paraguay, Landau will lead a delegation of U.S. companies exploring investment opportunities and meet senior officials to discuss trade, investment, regional security cooperation and combating transnational crime. In Argentina, he will meet senior government officials and private-sector leaders. Those talks will build on the U.S.–Argentina launch of the Andes-Atlantic Corridor during UN General Assembly High-Level Week and focus on economic growth, increased U.S. investment and security cooperation.
