Pulkovo Airport Resumes Flights Under Temporary Airspace Restrictions

Russia's aviation regulator said Pulkovo Airport was receiving and dispatching flights in coordination with the relevant authorities on October 16, after temporary restrictions had been introduced earlier that morning. Its 06:07 UTC notice said temporary restrictions on airspace use around the airport were affecting operations and that flight schedules could change. In a notice published at 04:51 UTC, the regulator had announced restrictions on arrivals and departures at Pulkovo. It said those measures were necessary to ensure flight safety.
