Worker, About 30, Dies After Fall at Beit Shemesh Construction Site

A worker about 30 died after falling from height at a construction site on Talmud Bavli Street in Beit Shemesh on Friday morning. United Hatzalah initially reported that its responders were carrying out resuscitation at the site. In a later update, medics Dudi Wertheimer, Daniel Mahadav and Mordechai Goldman said advanced resuscitation efforts had failed and the worker was pronounced dead at the scene because of his severe injuries. The medics said they were told at the scene that the fall followed scaffolding collapse.
