Iraq Orders Inquiry After PMF Says Baghdad Ammunition Blast Injured Five

Iraq's prime minister ordered an investigation on October 17 after an ammunition explosion at a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) headquarters in Baghdad. The PMF said damaged ammunition stored at a facility east of the Canal exploded, leaving five personnel with minor injuries. It said the resulting fire had been brought under control and specialist committees had begun examining the circumstances and cause. Iraq's Security Media Cell said the prime minister called for prompt findings and safety precautions to prevent similar incidents.
