Police Open Investigation Into Attack on European Diplomats Near Taybeh

Israel Police said on Saturday that they had opened an investigation after footage circulating online showed an assault on several European diplomats near Taybeh, in the Ramallah area. Police said they had sent a report to Israel’s Foreign Ministry so that the diplomats could be located and asked to give testimony. The investigation is intended to identify the people involved in the assault and bring the suspects to justice, police said.
