doubleAI Opens Maxwell Model to Speed Up Running Software

Tel Aviv-based doubleAI has opened early access to Maxwell, its first Code Execution Model, designed to improve software performance while programs are running. The company says the model examines a program, its hardware and the data it processes, then modifies the executable binary without changing the source code. According to doubleAI, the technology works with CPUs and GPUs, and each optimization undergoes formal mathematical checks intended to preserve the program’s original behavior. The company, co-founded and led by Prof. Amnon Shashua, introduced Maxwell on October 19.
