Medica Tel Aviv CEO Resigns After Hospital Safety Failures

Anat Nussbaum, CEO of Medica Tel Aviv, announced her resignation in a letter to doctors and staff on Monday evening. She said Dr. Eitan Hai-Am, a former Health Ministry director-general, would take over in the coming days as part of the hospital’s review and regularization process with the ministry. Nussbaum said she would provide a full handover. The private hospital in Ramat Hahayal was closed on September 28 after a surprise ministry inspection found serious operating-room and patient-safety deficiencies. Her letter did not address the individual findings and described a goal of returning to full, safe operation.
