Iran's supreme leader, Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, met parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to discuss the military, economic and information dimensions of the war with Israel and the United States, his office said on October 21. The statement emphasized national unity, parliament's role in social cohesion and continued public participation in rallies. It called for cooperation between the government and parliament on economic and livelihood problems, alongside work with Iran's unnamed strategic partners. Ghalibaf presented reports on lawmakers' wartime activity and plans to address national challenges; the release disclosed no specific military decision.
