Harry Brook Hits Fastest ODI Double Century in Rawalpindi

England captain Harry Brook scored 202 against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, becoming the first England batter to make an ODI double century and setting the format’s fastest double-century record. His innings included 21 fours and 10 sixes as England reached 429/4 in the tri-series match. Joe Root contributed 69, Will Jacks finished unbeaten on 66 and Tom Banton made 50. Brook was dismissed by Janith Liyanage on the final ball, having surpassed Ben Stokes’s previous England individual ODI record of 182 against New Zealand in 2023.
