Israel's Health Ministry published its 2025 health-insurance complaints report on October 22, reporting that 64.3% of complaints whose examination concluded produced a direct benefit for patients. The breakdown was 20.4% upheld, 25.2% resolved during examination or upon receipt, and 18.7% in which information or guidance helped patients exercise their rights. The office completed handling 14,967 public inquiries overall; 5,291 complaints required individual examination with health funds or professional bodies, about 20% more than in 2024.
