Rubio Urges Cubans Seeking Change to Work With CIA

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio urged people seeking political change in Cuba to cooperate discreetly with the CIA in an October 23 statement. He said the time had come after broken promises and corruption, contrasting those experiences with the privileged lives of a few. Earlier, President Donald Trump told a rally in Fort Myers, Florida, that U.S. ships returning from Iran could pass Cuba and that Rubio would then finish the job. Rubio's post did not identify prospective partners or provide operational instructions or a timetable.
