Tel Aviv Hotel Operators Report Higher Demand Ahead of Election
Published
Hotel operators report increased demand in Tel Aviv and nearby Herzliya ahead of the election, with bookings from Israelis vacationing locally and Israelis living abroad. Adam Hotels says occupancy at its Tel Aviv properties exceeds 90%, including overseas Israelis staying two to seven nights partly to vote. Fattal reports stronger election-week demand but cautions that October is traditionally busy and election promotions are recurring offers. Isrotel says it cannot systematically identify which Israeli guests came from abroad specifically to vote, limiting what hotel bookings can establish about election-related travel.
