IDF Reports About 40 Arrests in Weekend Judea and Samaria Operations

In a Saturday evening announcement, the IDF reported about 40 arrests in weekend counterterrorism operations across Judea and Samaria. IDF troops, Border Police and the Shin Bet operated at approximately 400 locations in about 40 villages, with Hamas-linked sites a focus. The military identified some detainees as Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives; others were suspected of incitement, disturbances or stone throwing. Operations in Hebron and Halhul accounted for about 20 of the arrests. In the Etzion Brigade area, troops simultaneously raided more than 70 locations across over ten villages and detained suspects linked to explosives and terrorist activity.
