Iraqi Officials Reportedly Suspect Israel Hit Militia Air-Defense Stores

Unnamed Iraqi officials reportedly suspect Israel attacked two sites holding Chinese-made portable air-defense systems for Iran-aligned armed factions last week. Sources said the weapons had arrived from Iran and were transferred to the factions, while Israeli involvement remains unconfirmed. A security official said investigators had not determined how the suspected attacks were carried out. Another Iraqi official said the government still lacked conclusive information identifying responsibility and was gathering evidence, leaving the attribution of the alleged attacks unresolved.
