Khamenei’s Office Reports Talks on Compensation Claims Against U.S. and Israel
Published
Iran’s supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei and judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei discussed pursuing compensation from the United States and Israel, Khamenei’s office reported Saturday. The office said the meeting emphasized claims for material and non-material damage that Iranian authorities attribute to the two countries. The release gave no amount and announced no new filing or court ruling. Israel has said Operation Roaring Lion addressed Iranian nuclear and ballistic-missile threats following years of direct and proxy attacks. That Israeli account predates Saturday’s Iranian statement.
