Nigerian Military Reports Killing 15 Terrorists in Borno Air Strike

Nigeria’s military said Saturday that an air strike northwest of Pulka, in Borno State’s Gwoza Local Government Area, killed 15 people it described as terrorists. Captain Mohammed Goni, spokesperson for Operation Hadin Kai, said the strike took place late Friday following intelligence and confirmed sightings of militant movements. Ground operations followed the strike, according to the military statement. The statement did not name the group involved or identify those killed; the reported death toll comes from the military and has not been independently verified in the available reporting.
