Saudi-Led Coalition Reports Riyadh Missile and Eastern Province Drone Interceptions

The Saudi-led coalition said its air defenses intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by Yemen’s Houthi militia toward Riyadh on Saturday, October 24. In a separate announcement, coalition spokesman Turki Al-Maliki said a drone had been intercepted and destroyed in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The missile statement identified the Houthis as the attackers, while the drone announcement did not name a launcher. Neither official announcement provided casualty figures, damage assessments or the exact locations of the interceptions.
