Israel Turns Clocks Back as Winter Time Begins

Israel entered winter time early Sunday, October 25, when clocks moved back from 2 a.m. to 1 a.m., ending this year's daylight saving period. Standard time will remain in effect until Friday, March 26, 2027. The transition follows the schedule set by the time law amended in 2013, with daylight saving ending on the last Sunday in October and resuming on the Friday before the last Sunday in March. Most smartphones and computers adjust automatically when automatic time updates and the Israeli time zone are enabled.
