The idea that Israel is responsible for a two state solution is so beyond parody by this point. Jordan and Egypt controlled the West Bank and the Gaza Strip from 1948 to 1967, but they did not create an independent Palestinian state during that time. Since the Six Day War in 1967, Palestinian leaders have officially rejected or walked away from at least 5 major peace proposals that would have established an independent Palestinian state. Then October 7 happened. And Israel is left without a peace partner, because it cannot negotiate with Hamas or the weak Palestinian Authority. So @Ed_Miliband what on earth are you talking about.

Most all of my gay and lesbian Persian friends voted for Trump and stand for Israel because they live in reality. They are first generation Americans whose parents fled persecution, and they have kicked the door down to be out and proud in their own conservative communities.
