Mohammed Abdulsalam
@abdusalamsalah · Iran & proxies — official accounts
Mohammed Abdulsalam is the spokesman and chief negotiator of Yemen's Houthi movement, which has attacked Israel and Red Sea shipping since 2023.
What the Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out in some coastal areas is a national operation within the framework of enforcing Yemeni sovereignty and dealing with the challenges and ambitions that threaten civil peace. True, just, and dignified peace has been and will remain our strategic choice, and everyone must realize that the choice of peace with Yemen is the least costly and shortest path toward reorganizing relations according to the principles of good-neighborliness, mutual respect, and shared interests. We affirm that the Republic of Yemen has no ambitions in any neighboring state or Arab or Islamic country or any other country in the world, and it has not attacked any state; rather, it is the one that has been attacked, in a manner inconsistent with Islamic and Arab brotherhood. As for freedom of navigation and the movement of international trade in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, they are safe and orderly, and there is no need for any international concern about them, as they face no danger from Yemen; the operations currently underway are limited in their objectives according to what was previously announced and fall within the defensive framework .

Translated from ArabicThe Saudi regime should have responded to peace instead of escalating and committing crimes, but it insists on misleading the world with false narratives in order to frighten and blackmail it; all of these claims have no basis in truth. Its aim is to elicit the sympathy of some countries to its side and have them fight on its behalf. The irony of fate is that its false narratives no longer find a listening ear even among its closest allies, and whoever listens to it is listening only to its money.
Translated from ArabicBREAKING: Brigadier General Yahya Saree: The crime committed by the criminal Saudi enemy last Monday, 7/9/2026, by targeting the central prison in the city of Al-Hazm in Al-Jawf Governorate, which claimed the lives of a large number of prison inmates along with a number of visitors, including children and women, took place as follows: At 16:30, an F15-SA fighter aircraft took off from King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, targeted the prison in two airstrikes, and returned to the same base in Khamis Mushait at 16:45. The Saudi enemy's attempts to evade responsibility for its crimes and aggression against our country will not spare it the consequences and repercussions of this aggression and criminality, no matter how much it tries to cover it up.
Translated from ArabicArmed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree: In parallel with its ongoing siege of Yemen, the Saudi enemy has taken escalatory steps by launching air raids and committing massacres, the latest of which was the Al-Jawf massacre, flying reconnaissance aircraft, and supplying its mercenaries with all kinds of weapons. The ongoing Saudi aggression against Yemen will not go without a response and punishment, and the Saudi enemy must bear the consequences of its crimes against the Yemeni people.

Translated from ArabicIn conjunction with the aggression facing our dear Yemeni people, the national negotiating delegation continues its contacts and meetings with various regional and international parties to clarify our position on these developments and to affirm that the operations carried out by our armed forces against Saudi ships, its mobilizations, and its camps stationed inside Yemen fall within the framework of our legitimate response to the attacks facing our Yemeni people, particularly the brutal attack on Sana'a airport on July 13, 2026. Sana'a adhered to the truce and de-escalation for four years and did not carry out any aggressive action against Saudi Arabia. In return, however, Saudi Arabia exploited this truce for a deliberate escalation in the economic and livelihood spheres with the aim of exhausting the Yemeni people. It tightened its blockade imposed on the Yemeni people through the arbitrary inspection procedures imposed on ships arriving at the port of Hodeidah, delaying them for months, and targeting banks, money exchangers, and merchants with decisions drafted in the name of the person holed up in his hotels. This compounded the humanitarian crisis and increased costs, negatively affecting the Yemeni citizen who finds himself facing exorbitant prices for goods. We affirm that we have never closed the door to dialogue and negotiations, before or after, and that it is the Saudi side that rejects them. It recently announced this quite clearly, contradicting its statements in which it claims to support peaceful solutions. By doing so, it seeks to stall in order to complete its conspiracies and military preparations to plunge the country into chaos and endless wars. Accordingly, the armed forces continue to carry out their national and responsible duty in confronting these conspiracies, defending the sovereignty, independence, and dignity of Yemen, and securing the Yemeni people's rights in full, God willing. In light of the regional and international contacts being received by the national negotiating delegation regarding these developments, we affirm that any future path must result in achieving the legitimate rights of the Yemeni people, foremost among them the humanitarian issues represented by opening the airports and ports, paying salaries, resuming oil and gas exports, and directing their proceeds toward services for the Yemeni people as a whole, as set out in the roadmap.
