Netanyahu Calls Erdoğan an Antisemitic Dictator After Turkey’s Interpol Request

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan “an antisemitic dictator” after Turkey requested Interpol Red Notices for him and Afek Moskovitch. Netanyahu accused Erdoğan of supporting Hamas’s October 7 massacre, slaughtering Kurds, repressing Turkish citizens, and occupying half of Cyprus. The Prime Minister’s Office said Israel would keep acting forcefully against Turkish attempts to destabilize the region and would not tolerate Turkish aggression expanding into Syria or Israel. Turkey’s request followed July 14 warrants in proceedings tied to the Global Sumud flotilla and naming 35 defendants.
