Police and Shin Bet Arrest First Suspect in Qusra Attack

Judea and Samaria District detectives, the Shin Bet and Samaria Yasam arrested a 19-year-old Samaria resident on suspicion of involvement in the violent August 29 attack in Qusra. Police said the suspect was transferred for questioning and investigators expect to seek an extension of his detention in court. The arrest is the first announced for suspected participation in the Qusra attack itself. Two people detained on September 2 were arrested during the seizure of a pickup allegedly used in the attack on suspicion of obstructing officers and throwing stones, not for alleged participation in the underlying attack.
