Central Arava Installs Mobile Observation Systems on Security Vehicles

Central Arava Regional Council has installed advanced mobile observation systems on its security vehicles as part of a wider upgrade to community defenses. Each system costs about NIS 100,000 and is designed to give local security teams a clear real-time picture by day and night. The equipment can move between council locations, improving monitoring, field identification and rapid response during routine operations and emergencies. The council-hosted Home Front Command specification requires day/night and thermal cameras, vehicle or tripod operation by one person, at least five hours of battery use, and detection of a person from at least 1,000 meters.
