Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki said 11 civilians were wounded in Saudi Arabia's Najran region by Iran-backed Houthi attacks on Thursday. Seven are Saudis, including a woman and a four-year-old child with second-degree burns, alongside one Yemeni, two Egyptians and one Pakistani. Al-Malki said the Houthi militia fired indiscriminate projectiles at civilian sites, a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law through the deliberate targeting of civilians. He said the Joint Forces Command will continue deterrent measures to protect residents. A senior Saudi official said intelligence indicates Iraqi militias coordinating with the Houthis under Revolutionary Guards direction are preparing immediate attacks on the kingdom.
