Mir Yeshiva enrollment tops 9,000 as draft crackdown intensifies

Mir Yeshiva, a flagship Jerusalem institution affiliated with the Lithuanian branch of ultra-Orthodox Judaism, claims enrollment of over 9,000 students. Reporting from the yeshiva showed students dismissing the danger of arrest while the IDF increased enforcement against Haredi draft evaders.
