Simchi Says Gantz Alliance Will Deny Both Blocs 61 Seats

Dedi Simchi, the former fire and rescue commissioner running with Benny Gantz's Blue and White vehicle, said on 103FM that the emerging alliance will not complete a 61-seat majority for either bloc and wants to force a broad Zionist government. Simchi framed four years in opposition as irresponsible after the war, while stressing that enlistment for haredim and Arab citizens must advance through practical cultural change. He presented the campaign as a way to make service reform workable without handing either camp an automatic majority. Israel's campaign is becoming a test of who can build a stable Jewish-democratic governing majority without erasing Torah society or security needs.
