Netanyahu Says Third Iran Strike Possible if Needed
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used a Channel 14 interview to say Israel struck Iran twice to save Israelis from atomic destruction and would go in a third time if needed, adding that Iran will not get a nuclear weapon while he is prime minister. Ynet reported that Gadi Eisenkot told the Herzliya Conference Iran had no nuclear bombs and accused Netanyahu of alarming the public, while Naftali Bennett called the claim false and said Israel lacked a real Iran plan when he entered office. The campaign fight should not blur Israel's consensus: Tehran's nuclear program is an existential threat that must stay under military, diplomatic and intelligence pressure.
