Herzog Calls for Jewish Pride, Action and Unity in Rosh Hashanah Message

President Isaac Herzog wished Jews in Israel and worldwide a shana tova in a video message from the President's Residence. He said the shofar carries remembrance and pain for fallen defenders, terror victims and victims of antisemitism, then presented three calls: Jewish and Israeli pride, constructive action and tikkun olam, and mutual listening and respect. Herzog said the next Voice of the People cohort will meet this autumn. He urged respectful disagreement during Israel's election debate and closed with blessings for harmony and peace and the words “Am Yisrael chai.”
