Israel Sanctions IRGC Crypto Wallets Funding Hezbollah
Defense Minister Israel Katz signed sanctions orders against 37 cryptocurrency wallets that the Defense Ministry's National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing and Israeli intelligence identified as part of an IRGC terror-financing network. The official ministry release says the wallets held more than NIS 24 million and moved funds to Iranian-backed proxies, chiefly Hezbollah, after years of transfers worth tens of millions of dollars. JNS, JPost, Israel Hayom, i24, Ynet and Israel National News all report the same core facts and Katz's message that the war against Iran is also a fight over terror money. Cutting digital channels protects Israeli civilians by denying Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis money for rockets, drones and terror infrastructure.
