Shaked Talks Advance Edelstein Right-Wing Bloc

Former justice minister Ayelet Shaked is moving closer at 22:58 IDT to a 2026 Knesset run after political contacts and initial understandings with Likud MK Yuli Edelstein. Earlier reports described approaches to Shaked and Edelstein by religious Zionist rabbis or right-wing figures, and said Edelstein is exploring an independent list with Shaked in the picture. The emerging lane targets national-right voters who want public responsibility after October 7, military burden-sharing and coalitions anchored in Jewish national duty. Israel benefits when religious Zionist and national-right voters have serious Zionist choices that respect Torah communities and strengthen responsible governance.
