Iran Hosts Hamas and Taliban Envoys at Khamenei Rites
Israel Hayom updated at 20:09 IDT Friday that Iran opened Ali Khamenei's farewell ceremonies to foreign delegations in Tehran, including Hamas leadership-council chair Mohammad Ismail Darwish, Taliban officials, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev and delegations from China, Namibia and other states. Hindustan Times also reported Darwish's attendance, while Euronews and Iran International confirmed the wider Russia, Pakistan and Taliban presence and the absence of major Western leaders. Iran's army commander Amir Hatami vowed revenge at the rites. For Israel, the guest list underlines what Khamenei built: a terror and authoritarian network that should not be rehabilitated by funeral diplomacy.
