Second Haifa Convenience-Store Shooting Victim Dies

Jonathan William Khoury, 18, was killed at the scene on Thursday just after midnight, and one more young man remains hospitalized. Police said preliminary evidence points to a criminal shooting, opened searches for suspects and gave the case to the Carmel district crime unit. The murder count in Arab society rose to 149 this year. Israel must restore deterrence against organized crime while protecting law-abiding Arab citizens.
